Mo Costello (Seattle, 1989) is an artist and educator based in Athens, Georgia where she is the recipient of recent fellowships from the University of Georgia's Lamar Dodd School of Art (2015 - 2017) and Emory University (2017).

Reading Station (HH) documents a site specific installation and term-long curatorial project conceived and organized while in residency at the University of Georgia with an emphasis on activating dialogue through engaged study and the maintenance of collective resources.

More recently, NEWSPAPER (1969 - 2017), an exhibition co-curated with Publisher Marcelo Gabriel Yañez, considers the history of a queer publication originally conceived in New York in 1969 under the guidance of Steve Lawrence and re-imagined under the direction of Yañez. During the duration of the exhibition, alongside its initial release on the 10th of March at Murmur Media, a regional edition of the publication was distributed broadly and for free.

Currently, Mo is an instructor at The Zero School of Art + Time in Atlanta’s South Downtown, established alongside Blair LeBlanc in Spring 2018.
